and the rain came pouring down . . .

Summer in South Africa means the rainy season. It's actually something I really enjoy, because it cools everything off and breaks the humidity. Usually it will rain every few days, but we had about a two week period of hot and muggy weather with no relief at all.

Then on Sunday, the clouds broke with dramatic thunder, lightening, and rain. The storms may mean losing our electricity, but it's worth it to stand in the rain and feel the cool breeze.
